I am a Reiki Master Teacher and A Seichim Master Teacher and Spiritual Healer are we are both Spiritual Healers and Spiritual Mediums. We have put below a brief overview about the different types of healing, however, this is not conlusive and in full detail but wanted to give you an idea of the differences and hopefully may help you choose which healing would be best suited for you if you decided to go for any healing treatments. | What is Reiki Healing?
Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." Reiki is a Japanese healing technique which helps alleiviate mental, emotional and physical conditions and promotes relaxation and healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen force or energy flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. Usually when you feel low, when your engergy or life force is low, we are more likely to become ill and/ or feel stressful. When our life force or energy is high and we are feeling good we feel happier, more content, generally healthy and bouncy, then we are less likely to get sick and not feel stress, this is usually a good sign that our life force or energy is good. |  | | | | What is Seichim Healing? Seichim is an ancient and sacred form of hands on healing and is said to be the Parent Energy of all hands on healing systems. It was rediscovered in the early 1980's by an American Reiki Master, Patrick Zeigler who prayed, meditated and fasted to be empowered, much the same way that Dr Usui did when he rediscovered Reiki. As confirmation of what he had been given, Patrick later met Marat an old Seichim Teacher from southern India, who passed on to him the history of Seichim as it has been handed down to him by his teachers and to them by their teachers. Marat told of how Seichim originally came from Egypt. It was translated and transcribed from heiroglyphs by the Shin Yon Buddhist; of that time and taken back to India and Japan. Seichim is the Energy of the Universe manifested through the feminine vibration of the Mother Goddess, known by the Buddhists as Quan Yin and by the Egyptians as Sekmet In ancient Egypt Sekmet was considered to be the Mother of the Gods and was known as The Great One of Healing. Her magician-priests were the greatest of all healers and her son, Nefar-Tem, the God of Physicians. In ancient Egypt the term "Sekhem" described 'Tower" or "Might" and so Seichim Energy also contains aspects which we do not necessarily associate with the feminine and which are more traditionally male characteristics, so it therefore incorporates both yin and yang, or perfect balance and this balance is the key to progress and enlightenment. | |  |  | | What is Spiritual Healing? Spiritual healing can be given in several ways: Contact healing, where the healer lays hands on the person who has requested the healing. Distant healing, the person in need of healing is in the same room but not receiving contact healing. Absent healing, where the person in need of healing is not in the same room as the healer, therefore healing thoughts and prayers are sent to them. Spiritual Healing is the simple process of channelling divine healing energy through a healer to an individual.
