| A little about us. Paul and I come from very different backgrounds with very different upbringings. So to spare any family embarrassments or any nitty gritty details, we shall just give you the basics about us! Paul grew up in a loving home. It was in his early adult years he joined the armed forces and had a career with the Royal Pioneers, after leaving the forces he led pretty much an ordinary family life, but wasn't until in his early 40's (shhh lets not tell him I put his age) his life had a directional change and it was not long after that we met and Paul found Spiritualism. | | | After learning about Spiritualism he realised that he had finally found his path in life. Although through his middle years, shall we say, Paul very often described unusual spiritual experiences from passed family members and always felt inclined towards the spiritual side of life and he had always worked for a charity. As for me, well my background was completely different. My family home was generally not a happy one and grew up feeling isolated apart from my Indian (native american) friend who used to come and talk to me or just sit with me in my bedroom at night. From an early age I set off to find my local church, which was C of E, this was the beginning of my search for something, but didn't know what I was looking for. I spent many years in my life going from church to church as none of them felt right to me, something was always missing. At the age of 9 I almost drown, which was an unusual experience as I don't remember being afraid or panicking, I felt remarkably calm. Growing up involved wondering who the mysterious people were in my bedroom at night, some times I would spend the night with the covers over my face, sometime I would just sit and watch. I had many different psychic experiences through my life and premonitions about happenings. When my brother past I could sense him when he entered the room, it was very distinct. This was the first proper contact with Spirit for me. From then on I had many psychic and spiritual experiences, but without any guidance I never got to take those first few steps on the rungs. It was not until I had another traumatic life change and then after a few years of recouperation that I found Spiritualism and started to develop. | |

| | A little about what we do now. We spend most of our time together attending different churches, we attend workshops and events purely out of interest and a keeness to learn whatever we could about spirit work and healing and basically what is was all about! Both Paul and I do services from platform and readings in a private setting. We also do healing through our local church and at home privately where we can practise other forms of healing. We both practice Reiki Healing and Spiritual Healing and I also practise Seichim Healing. | We are both very fortunate when it comes to working with spirit as we both use all our senses when it comes to communication, by that I mean that we use Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Clairsentience, Clairgustance and Clairessence. Which means we hear, see and feel spirit, but also sometimes they will put a fragrance under our noses or impress a taste of something in our mouths. We both continue with our spiritual work in whatever way we can and whenever we have the time to do it. Although neither of us has had any formal long term development training we have both managed to get through what was needed to get us here today, but that's Spirit for you, they will always find a way to make things happen, if its meant to be, and although we will always continue to develop ourselves and continue to learn we will always endeavour to share our knowledge with those others who wish to listen. At present we have been drawn to working at healing on another level which is quite exciting for us. Also Paul and I are working towards another level of Mediumship which I'm sure in time will come to fruition, but not before we have well prepared ourselves and learned a lot of lessons. Meditation is always our way forward, but life can get in the way, to keep us grounded, but finding the balance is always hard and like so many of you we too struggle to find the balance in everything we do, but we take comfort in the knowledge that we are human, we do make mistakes, but we also learn from them and ensure we don't make the same mistakes and in doing so go that one step further on our pathway, hopefully! We are both currently committee members of our local church and try to help take it forward the best way we can. But we also have an amazing group of friends who are very much on our wavelength and its a wonderful experience to be able to meet with them and share experiences and learn and if there is only one thing I would recommend when living this kind of life is to surround yourself with those you can trust completely. Some of our lessons have indeed been very hard, but necessary and the amount of knowledge that came from them could not have been bought so we thank spirit for all our experiences good and bad. | |

| A little about our future. Well this is a very tricky area because although we have plans of what we would like to do, if its not on our life path then we won't be doing it. I suppose some people might say that its horrible not to have control in your life, to not get what you want or what you plan for, but its not quite like that. What happens in our lives is for a reason, remember your Souls path? Good or Bad! Well during our meditation times we do ask for things we need rather than want (ok, there's a few little wants in there, well we wouldn't be human would we) and hopefully those wishes will somehow fit in with the Souls plan. So rather than say this is my life, this is what I want or what I'm going to do. We are more on the lines of well this is what we need, we hope we get it, but if we don't we understand that it was not meant to be! | | So back to our plans. As Mediums we will continue to work in that field, Spirit permitting, after all without them, we are nothing, like a telephone that never rings, what use is that, but that's the road we shall continue on, continually developing and learning along the way. We plan to go forward with our healing and hopefully one day to have a place of our own, a retreat if you will, which we can share with people and eventually have our own little sanctuary. Well thats the goal, the wishes were sent to Spirit so now all we can do is wait and see. We very much try to do our bit for the environment and would love to get a more eco friendly car, but that another wish ! However, we do grow our own veggies and have our lovely ladies in their hen coop, yes chickens!!! So between our lovely ladies and our pooch Poppy we are kept busy, but always everything we do we always try to do in the interest of helping people and caring for our little patch of Mother Earth. We never know what is going to happen in our future, but with the knowledge we keep in our minds that our life is about learning lessons along the way does somehow make the hard times seem a little easier.
